This weekend sees one of the pinnacles of the European Gaming year - LAN 79 in Poitiers, France.
As teams travel from as far a field as Germany and Russia I'll be taking a look at some of the teams who will be featuring later on in the tournament

VeryGames will be coming to this event as a clear favourite. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that these are the guys to beat and are arguably the best team in the world at the minute.
They’ve even taken to showboating with some ad-hoc exhibition matches against American opponents on New York servers. LAN 79 will be their 3rd LAN in 4 weeks after they were victorious at both Gamers-Assembly 3 weeks ago and the Alienware Area-51 Challenge 2 weeks ago at Gadget Show Live.
Infact, VeryGames have won a total of 8 LANs since October last year and not many will be betting against them to make it 9

After the Gamers Assembly in France and the Gadget Show Live in UK, both of which we won. We have been on bootcamp with 4 players (shox is at school). We are confident for this LAN and I hope its a nice event with many good European teams attending. We have been training all the season for this event. This event is the most important for Team VERYGAMES because its the one and only international LAN in France. Top 3 prediction , VG, Crack, Dignitas or RedLine in that order
